Collar of the Governor of the Province of Ryazan

Collar of the Governor of the Province of RyazanCollar of the Governor of the Province of Ryazan was designed bó Michael Shelkovenko, GHA[R], and established in 2006 (see left the collar laid on the breast of Mr G. Shpak, current Governor of the Province of Tver on October 31, 2006).

The medallion with a Grand Ducal cap depicts the coat of arms of the Province of Ryazan.

Rectangular showlder plaques depicts two Saint Martyrs and Princes - St. Gleb of Murom and St. Roman of Ryazan. The chest medallions of the collar are decorated with 12 oval shields of historical arms of the Ryazan Governorship's cities, and the similar ones on the back shows «life-trees», griffins and mythical birds.
